- Upon inspection the tech scanned found no codes present. The tech found the shifts are clunky at times. The 1-2 shift is early, the 2-3 has a slide bump. The tech performed the transmission service, the tech found motor oil around the bell housing. The fluid is full, dark and due for service. No metal on magnet. The tech completed the service, cleaned the motor oil from the bell housing and test drove. The transmission was shifting smoother after the service. The tech does recommend another transmission service in 6 months to monitor the engine oil for a rear main seal leak and to check the transmission fluid and condition.
