- Upon internal inspection the tech found the carrier bearings failed. This send much metal through the differential and ruined the pinion bearings and well. Races show signs of heat wear, ring, pinion and carrier are in good shape. At this time the tech recommends rebuilding the rear differential. Advised customer of findings, customer approved verbally by phone.
