- Upon inspection scanned found code: U300-49 – Control module – Internal Electric U300-53 – Control module – deactivated The tech confirmed the electronic power steering is not working correctly. The tech tested for power and ground at the module, power is present. No power from the module. The tech recommend replacement of the power steering rack and module. Advised customer of findings, customer approved verbally by phone.
