The transmission fluid is full, varnished and due for service. Advised customer of findings, customer declined any further inspection at this time.

After the Vb was installed the instruction state not to re flash. The rough shifting will have to be driven out. This can take up to 1000 miles. After discussing with he vendor the proper driving instruction for this re lean, they advised to drive the vehicle using no more than 50 % throttle. If your going to be using tow mode, the vehicle will have to be driven in the tow mode for up to 1000 miles to re learn as well. We have put 43 miles on the vehicle and the shifting is much smoother but still needs to be driven more.

UPON PERFORMING OUR LEAK INSPECTION. WE FOUND THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS LEAKING FROM THE FRONT OR BELL HOUSING AREA. RECOMMEND REMOVING THE TRANSMISSION FOR INSPECTION. IT MAY NEED THE SEAL, TORQUE CONVERTER AND/OR PUMP REPLACED.

UPON PERFORMING OUR TESTING AND INSPECTION. WE FOUND THAT THE BATTERY IS DEAD/BAD. THE ENGINE IS LEAKING COOLANT FROM UNDER THE INTAKE, THERMOSTAT HOUSING, WATER PUMP, HOSES, AND OTHER. THE NOISE/VIBRATION CONCERN WAS COMING FROM A LARGE ROCK WE FOUND WEDGED INTO THE FRAME. WE REMOVED THE ROCK. THE NOISE AND VIBRATION IS GONE AT IDLE.

Upon inspection the tech scanned found code: P1177-00 – Synchronization – Not current DTC. The tech test drove multiple times the transmission is working and performing as designed. The tech was able to duplicate the customers concern. When in two low speeds at light throttle the engine will start to misfire on all cylinders, the vehicle will start to hesitate and jerk. Then once stopped you start to take off from a stop and it feels like the engine is stalling. Again the tech found multiple and random misfires present. At this time the tech recommend taking to diesel mechanic for further inspections and repairs.

UPON INSPECTION THE TECH FOUND THE LINKAGE NUT AT THE TRANSMISSION WAS LOOSE. THIS WAS ALLOWING EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT AND NOT ALLOWING THE TRANSMISSION TO ENGAGE INTO GEAR.
