Mileage198,263Service Date6/24/2024Services Performed- Upon inspection the tech confirmed an agresive transmission leak is present. The tech found the transmission cooler line is loose, and when the vehicle is running excessive amounts of fluid is spraying from the loose line. The tech tightened up the cooler line and cleaned of the transmission residue. The tech took on a test drive, found the transmission has all gears present. The tech re checked for any leaks. Transmission cooler line are no longer leaking. The tech noted the front pinion seal is leaking. The tech also noted the front u-joint has excessive slop present, and recommend replacement of the universal joint.

THE 3-4 SHIFT IS TOO QUICK. RECOMMEND REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION. CUSTOMER APPROVED RECOMMENDED REPAIRS.
- UPON REMOVAL THE TECH FOUND THE RIGHT FRONT CV AXLE HAS FAILED. DUE TO THIS FINDING THE CV AXLE WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.

The tech noted previous codes: P0345-00 CAMSHAFT position sensor A circuit Bank 2 U0140-00 – Lost communication W/BCM The tech found the vehicle is working and performing as designed. The tech performed diagnostics for the previous codes and found no issues present at this time. The tech did do research for the oil consumption issue and found a TSB that requested a PCM calibration update along with an oil service. Advised customer of findings.

THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN (18-002-19 REV.A) FOR AN UPDATE TO THE POWER CONTROL MODULE (PCM). RECOMMEND REPLACING THE BATTERY AND PERFORMING THE UPDATE.
