- Upon inspection the tech scanned found codes: P2706 – Shift Sol F The tech performed diagnostics for the current code. The tech noted the solenoid block is failing. When the tech pulled the pan found the fluid full, and much clutch material in different piles in the bottom of the pan. This is showing that the transmission is in the early stage of failure. The tech noted we can replace the solenoid block, service the transmission and this will work for sometime. Or we can pull the transmission now and rebuild it as needed. Advised the customer of findings. The customer requested we only change the solenoid block at this time.
