The tech noted previous codes: P0345-00 CAMSHAFT position sensor A circuit Bank 2 U0140-00 – Lost communication W/BCM The tech found the vehicle is working and performing as designed. The tech performed diagnostics for the previous codes and found no issues present at this time. The tech did do research for the oil consumption issue and found a TSB that requested a PCM calibration update along with an oil service. Advised customer of findings.

The tech tested for power and ground at the module, power is present. No power from the module. The tech recommend replacement of the power steering rack and module. Advised customer of findings, customer approved verbally by phone.

    • Upon inspection the tech scanned found codes: P090C-00 – Clutch B actuator control The tech performed the diagnostics for the current code and found the ground is good. The tech swapped the actuators, reset and re tested. The check engine light came on with same code present. The tech then inspected the wiring from the TCm to the transmission. Again all checked good. At this time, the tech noted a extended 5yr/100,00 mile warranty on the TCM. Recommend taking to the dealer for further inspection and repairs.
